Why did you choose your url? Like, what does it mean to you? Because I know what it means in Dutch I just figured that's not why you chose it.

It’s kind of dumb to be honest.

You see, there’s this song by José Gonzales called Heartbeats and Ellie Goulding made a cover of it and I love both versions of it so much.

There was this time that I couldn’t go a day without listening to that song, I just love it so much and it doesn’t really mean anything in particular to me, I just think it’s a very lovely and the lyrics are great too, they don’t have a specific meaning for me, I mean, it started to mean a little something after I had already chosen the url and stuff but I still think the word heartbeats is a little more than that, I think heartbeats well… they are the sign of us being alive and any kind of instense emotion we have, we can always listen to our heartbeats when we have it.

Also I chose hartslagen because heartbeats was taken and I looked for the word in other languages and I liked hartslagen the most.
